Sikhs are the 5th largest religous group in the world with a worldwide distribution of about 25 million people.
The Religion was founded by Guru Nanak in North India in 1492.  
 
 
Sikhs have a history of defending the weak and downtrodden from oppressive regimes.  
The Sikhs were the primary reason why the Mughal Invaders were unsuccessful in converting all of India to Muslims in the 1500-1650's.
Are often called Saint-Soldiers for their spirituality and Physical prowess.
They proudly served in the Allied Armies during WWI and WWII
